Privacy Policy

Transparency about how your information is handled before, during, and after every MVP engagement.

1. Scope & Controller

This Privacy Policy explains how Facile (operated by Wail Erraki) collects, uses, and protects personal information for website visitors, newsletter subscribers, and customers purchasing MVP development services.

Facile is the data controller. You can reach me at hello@facile.codes for any privacy-related questions.

2. Data Collected

I collect information that you provide directly (for example, when submitting a contact form or signing a service agreement) and information generated automatically when you use this website.

  • Identity & contact data: name, email address, company name, role, and other details you provide when booking a call or engaging services.
  • Commercial data: project scopes, service selections, invoices, payment history, and notes required to deliver contracted work.
  • Communications: Slack or email threads, Loom walkthroughs, and discovery call recordings needed for collaboration.
  • Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, referrers, and analytics data to secure and measure the site.
  • Payment data: processed through PCI-DSS compliant providers (for example, Stripe or bank transfer partners). I do not store full card numbers on my servers.

3. How Information Is Used

Personal data is processed to deliver and improve services, communicate with you, and comply with legal obligations.

  • Providing proposals, statements of work, timelines, and MVP builds tailored to your requirements.
  • Running discovery sessions, workshops, and async updates so you have full visibility into the build.
  • Processing payments, accounting, taxes, fraud prevention, and ensuring contractual guarantees.
  • Sending service announcements, scheduling follow-ups, or advising on product improvements (you may opt out at any time).
  • Maintaining and improving this website, including diagnostics, security logs, and aggregated analytics.

4. Legal Bases

Depending on your jurisdiction, Facile processes data under the following legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests in running a business (for example, improving services or preventing misuse), consent (such as optional marketing emails or analytics cookies where required), and compliance with legal obligations such as taxation and accounting.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

I only share personal data with trusted service providers who help deliver the MVP engagement or keep the platform operational. These providers may include hosting companies (Vercel), analytics tools, payment processors, or communication platforms like Slack and Loom. All vendors are bound by confidentiality and data protection terms.

I may disclose information if required by law, to enforce agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Facile, clients, or others. I do not sell personal data.

6. Data Retention

Project records, contracts, and financial data are kept for as long as necessary to deliver services, support future engagements, or meet legal requirements (typically up to seven years for tax and accounting in most jurisdictions).

Non-essential data may be deleted sooner upon request, provided there is no overriding legal or contractual reason to keep it.

7. Security

I implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—such as access controls, encrypted storage, and secure coding practices—to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but I continually monitor for vulnerabilities and remediate issues quickly.

8. International Transfers

Facile operates remotely and may process data in the European Union, United States, or other jurisdictions where service providers are located. When data is transferred across borders, I rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms as required by applicable law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, as well as object to or restrict certain processing activities. California residents may request details about third parties that received personal information, and EU/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

To exercise any right, contact hello@facile.codes. I will respond within one month (or sooner where required).

10. Children

Facile services are not directed to children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child provided information, please contact me so it can be removed.

11. Changes

I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. When that happens, a revised version and effective date will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the site or services after an update constitutes acceptance.

12. Contact

If you have questions, concerns, or requests about this policy or how Facile handles data, email hello@facile.codes.
